My fiance couldn't understand why I wanted to watch hockey tonight since the flames weren't playing.
Ha!

Wingels has had quite the game. Taking some big hits but creating a lot offensively.

You have to be impressed with how hard the Sharks have come out this game. They deserve to be up one. For what ever reason, the Kings seem to always get the breaks against them.

Anyone catch what the arena announcer said with one minute left?

I swear he said "Last minute of play in the period. This IS THE MCFLURRY MINUTE".

That can't be it.

Clearly she doesn't get it. Better to find out now, rather than after the wedding.

the fact that games of this quality can still be played in this league makes me happy

(outside of the crappy officiating)

I think it is. McDonald's is one of the Kings' major sponsors. I think if the Kings score in the last minute of the second period, everyone in attendance gets a free McFlurry.

I hope we get one of those triple OT West Coast games. When you fall asleep watching the game and are surprised to see who won.

Couture so close.

Each shift there is a humongous hit. Talk about an entertaining hockey game.

These announcers are garbage.

"Save of the game. Quick didn't get a piece of it, but if he did..."

Who just chirped Hertl at whistle with 9:22 left after he whiffed. Thornton? Quick?

"Nice shot..."

I haven't had a chance to look into a few of the games, but this is really the first one that feels like legit first round playoff hockey to me

Flyers/ Capitals was crazy. Ovechkin and Schenn were trying to hit everything in sight. Ovy apparently separated Couturier's shoulder.
