1-0 Tampa off a Kucherov bullet on a 5-on-3.

That call on the supposed slew foot looked a bit sketchy. I thought it maybe looked worse than it was. Any call to put you on a 5 on 3 is tough.

Larkin gets a penalty and then 18 seconds after he gets out of the box he scores the tying goal for the Red Wings, 1-1.

Blind side head hit on Palat by DeKeyser. No call. Brutal.

DeKeyser demolishes Palat against the board, clear head hit, no call, and Detroit somehow get a PP out of that. Makes total sense!

How does Pavel get a penalty when he takes a stick to the face and loses a tooth and blood everywhere???

What a complete joke. If I was at all invested in this series I would be for real pissed instead of just disgusted.

It's ridiculous. Larkin also elbowed Drouin in the first period, away from the play in open ice, busted Drouin open, and no call.

I don't care about the teams in this series much - but in a year that has featured the worst referring I've ever seen, they seemed to have saved their "best" for the playoffs.

Like why did Boyle get called on that play? With everything else going on - that gets called?

Retaliation penalty, but the high stick needed to be called.

The officials are going to completely lose control of this game.

It's been much worse in the other direction since, they missed a clear 5 and a game headshot by Dekeyser and then somehow the wings ended up on the PP. Just called a third straight penalty on the Bolts for a completely clean hit.

Agreed! This is by far and away the absolute worst officiating I have ever seen at any level of any sport. This is beyond pathetic and into the realm of sheer incompetence. And by onto the realm I mean all the way into.

Boyle penalty was a joke. Ericsson was about to put his shoulder into Boyle - he just got out muscled.

The level of play in this one is significantly higher than Isles / Panthers. Flipping back and forth is like night and day.
