In Stony Plain an older man just sitting in his car when accusing photos of him were published on Facebook. Someone thought he was leering at children.

This stuff is very dangerous.

Where does it say she was wrongfully accused? Not defending the actions of the creep catchers at all but I watched the video and I'm not sure how you can be so sure she was wrongfully accused.

Even if McKnight had not taken her own life and had confessed to being the worst sexual predator in the world, his video would have been properly useless to police.

It would be very interesting to see the Police records of each chapter leader of the various Canadian cities they have made their presence known at. History has taught us that in many of the top Nazi brass, Communist witch hunts, etc., the most vocal and enthusiastic Vigilantes usually have tons of skeletons in their closet.

Even NBC fired "To Catch a Predator" star Chris Hansen, after his personal life was revealed to be hardly one as a moral crusader, as he liked to portray himself on TV.

Far be it from me to defend a man who cheats on his wife with multiple women including strippers but c'mon. There is a huge difference between that and luring underage women.

Wow. He looks terrible. I doubted that was actually him that second photo. I had to google recent images of him. From other photos, he looks like he has gained a lot of weight. I think thats what makes his face look so different.

Maybe it's just the fact that I hate Chris Hansen with a passion. There is a special place in hell for anyone who uses a situation like adult predators luring Grade 9 girls into sexual situations, and branding it "entertainment."

I remember reading an article critical of the show, and it hit the nail on the head. Any TV program that makes sexual predators look sympathetic is deplorable. Besides, society should be concentrating on preventative measures, not using methods that can only be described as borderline entraptment for the sake of TV ratings, to ruin someone's life due to them being involved in a hypothetical situation.

I wonder sometimes if the people who enjoy "To Catch a Predator" even have children....
