It's nice to see Elson get a shot. Tremendous work ethic and he never stops improving his game.

Yah Elson has always impressed me. If we don't qualify him I hope he'd be willing to sign a AHL contract as I think he could wear the C in the distant future.
Exited to see Kylington. Giving him cups of coffee in the NHL will be important IMO.
Many defencemen don't break into the NHL until 22/23- well by that point he will have 4-5 AHL seasons under his belt. Hopefully he doesn't get frustrated and pull a Baertschi. Sometimes I wonder if we should have sent him to Brandon.

Fan of Elsom too, he's not just a plug, kid has wheels and some skills. Flames brass have been likening him to Maltby since they signed him, that's exactly the type of player the Flames need.

Interesting. Those are all good players too, so it's nice company to be in.

So you bring Elsom [sic] in, who gets bumped from the lineup? What player on the Flames roster do you eliminate to bring him into the fold?

Everyones favourite whipping boys of course! Stajan and Bollig.
That's Elsom's role, 4th line grinder who may contribute on the PK, and also whipping boy who everyone complains about because he's not Johnny Gaudreau. Every team needs a fan whipping boy!
Elsom will be competing against the likes of Bouma, Hathaway, Smith, Carroll, BVB, Jooris, Arnold for Stajan and Bollig's spots.

I could see Turner Elson replacing Stajan once Stajan's contract finally ends. Maybe the Flames should re-sign Elson and let him slowly develop in the meantime. They signed him right after the 2011 draft, so I've always kind of associated him with the 5 2011 picks.
He's an easy guy to root for.
Elsom is awesone.

Those Reebok cotton tees look so comfortable. Can you buy those Flames ones? Always see the players with them.

Sieloff looks like he's got the size to play now. Kylington could use a few pounds. Elsom looks happy to be there!

Seems like the Flames have a lot of these "Turner Molsen" types.
