Was surprised during the game when this wasn't a major penalty / ejection. Figured it must not have actually caught him in the head.
In context of being a repeat offender and very intentional and viscous check to the head, what are the chances his season is done (4 games)?
Out of curiosity, what happens if they decide on 5(+)? I assume preseason games don't count against the suspension, and he wouldn't be able to play any preseason games until he sits the 5th regular season game?
I know it's crazy to compare to Wideman, but when you see such a deliberate intent to injure another human, it will be hard to comprehend how a repeat offender will get a quarter of the punishment.

Kadri to have a hearing for this cross-check to the head of Luke Glendening. Scroll to about the 2:30 mark.
Cox have any comment on that? He likes to grandstand about the "vicious slash" and how the league is picking on Kadri. Cross check in the head the guy should be done for the year and miss the start of next season. NHL can give him 2 games for that and continue to build the players case in ongoing concision litigation.

regular season would count...so he could play pre-season but miss the opener

Is there anyone left whom Cox hasn't blocked on Twitter that could check?

Damien Cox @DamoSpin Crosscheck by Kadri nasty and dangerous. If anything, NHL could have given him more than 4 games. Totally over the line.
