What is his contract status for next season? Could the Flames bring him over? I'm concerned he may fade into oblivion because of his KHL issues.

This game is so boring we're actively discussing Rushan Rafikov's contract status...a player I'm betting most people completely forgot about.
Thanks Dave Tippett. You win again, and the fans lose.

Flames games are blacked out in Calgary, but if you're traveling or live somewhere else, it should work fine for all games.

*yawn* not sure I can stay awake long enough to finish this "barn-burner". May have to just watch the highlights in the morning.

I just want to watch the young guys. See how they play. Especially Hunter and Emile.

How did the callups do so far? I saw the first few minutes and even saw Bennett flukey goal then fell asleep. Always happens whenever I watch the Flames play the Coyotes.

Shinkaruk is fast and shifty, Grant is solid, Kulak with some nice defensive plays. Haven't noticed Poirier

So do I, but I doubt you will see anything close to what they're capable of playing a Tippett team. Games against Arizona are where skill and excitement goes to die.

The new NHL.TV is horrible for blackouts. I have access, but would never pay for it.

Thanks. That's good. I am glad they are getting the top 6 forward's minutes instead of playing on the 4th line minutes.

Poirier seems really passive so far. Hes got a completely different energy in this game than Shinkaruk who seems dialed in, ready pounce and make plays. It's just weird when I see Poirier sit back and not pursue aggressively when I know he has so much untapped speed to reel in these guys who do manage to get by him. He should be running down pucks like a mad man. Just my take so far in this game. Although I had the same issues in his play last yer when he was up too.
