Nashville, St Louis, Chicago, San Jose (x2), Anaheim, and LA. That's Vancouver's next 7 games.
They could be 30th overall by the time that stretch is done.
If Edmonton gets at least one point tonight, the Canucks will end the night tied for second-last.

Tanguay is making a pretty strong case for Arizona to sign him in the offseason. He's looking like the Tanguay of old out there.

The Flyers lose 3-2 in the shootout to the BJs. The single point puts them in a tie with the Red Wings. Detroit lost 6-2.
The Wild lead 2-1 over the Kings in the third period.
The Capitals have clinched first place in their division and conference with the 4-2 win over the Senators.

According to the Coyotes broadcast, Doan is the best leader in all of professional sports.
Well now.

No!
They broke that record tonight! The Canucks are now presently amid their longest goal drought in franchise history.

I think I quit working at the canucks a little too soon. Damn this season would have been fun. This is a truly bad team, an absolute dearth of talent on that roster.

Chicago has been very mediocre lately; since their 12 game win streak they are 10-12-3

dont think they catch the leafs but probably finish 28th or 29th
however there is a new lottery though, so wherever they finish add 3 spots above them and that's where they draft

Leafs? EDM actually has the worst points per game at the minute and they are currently down to ARI as well.

Canucks have lost 5 straight and are 3 and 7 in the last 10. Leafs have won 2 straight and are 5 4 1 in their last 10. You're only 3 points ahead of the Leafs heading into a tough schedule.

Edmonton will win their last 5 or 6 though to set up the annual summer narrative of "next year is our year"

It is my firm belief that Bettman has a team of programmers pounding away as we speak, working out an algorithm that will forsake tankers (Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto) and shine favour upon teams playing hard (Calgary, Columbus, Buffalo and Arizona) when the lottery balls have their say at the end of April.

I hope the NHL overlords hear your prayer.
Toby Reider scores against the team that gave up on him

im of the belief that 12 years ago Trevor Linden helped Gary Bettman push through the framework of the CBA, and Gary has been waiting for the right time to pay it back
