The best you can expect from a 6th defenseman is to be not negatively noticed with a minimal contract that won't hurt your cap.
Most the games I have seen this year (my work hours cause me to miss a few. I am at work now) he has stood out negatively (again in my opinion).
I know he has a lot of support (and some from posters I respect a lot) but I just don't see it.

That was a nice feature on Smithbilt Hats. When I think of families and businesses that have been around here a 100 years and that reflect and celebrate our local history and culture, I say F you to the rest of the world we will be just fine here in Alberta and get through this latest downturn.
