The reason is why sell 2 jerseys when you could sell 4?

Must win game for VAN if they want to make the playoffs. Be interesting to see how they come out. Big draft implications for us. We're peaking in terms of injuries, this is the most decimated the roster has been all year. Two inexperienced guys on defense, questionable goaltending. Gonna be awesome to see Bennett with a couple bangers, love the look of that line.
Can't wait!

I don't mind if the Flames roll with Hiller playing the bulk of the starts from now until the trade deadline. He may end up going on a roll, and a team will pick him up for some depth. Season is pretty much lost anyways.
After the trade deadline, I would expect the Flames to start Ortio more to give him some more experience and see what he has.
The way I see it, if Hiller rebounds back to his level last year (and his average in the last few seasons - and yes, I realize it is a pretty big IF considering his body of work so far this season), I bet the Flames trade him for a 2nd or a 3rd. That is great currency to have.

Jooris I'll give you, but Ferland's done something positive practically every shift I watch him play.

No, it really shouldn't. Leave the 80's in the 80's.

If we end up picking say top 3 in the draft, I imagine Bennett could end up at Center or Wing.
If it's Matthews, Bennett stays at wing:
Say
Gaudreau-Matthews-X
Bennett-Monahan-Frolik.
If it's a Finn, then it's Bennett at Center - say
Gaudreau-Monahan-Frolik
X-Bennett-Finn (Laine Puljujarvi)
The top 4 plus two other wingers in the top 6. Probably a few combinations to choose from.

Couldn't disagree more.
That jersey is -the- jersey. I think most fans would rank it as the best jersey in franchise history.
They absolutely should move back to it. Not only is it intimidating, it's also basically perfect from an aesthetics standpoint.

Well we will disagree. It is not intimidating, it is blah. It also has no black which sucks.

I started watching Flames games on TV cause of the morning they unveiled the 03/04 Jerseys on Global News.
Everyone was talking about them at school and I started watching and listening to the games regularly (back when the majority weren't on tv).
That was a great time to start following the Flames!

Maybe, but not as good as 1988/89.

The season ended like 5 months before I was born so it never happened and the world is conspiring to make me believe it did.

The no black is the best part from an aestethics stand point. Why use four colors when you only need three.

I always go into every game hoping for a shutout. In light of tonight's starter, I'm going to re-calibrate my vocabulary so "shutout" means 3 goals against.
So tonight I predict 4-3 Canucks in the shootout; Hiller gets the shutout.
