It would be cool for him to get on a roll like Stone did last year and get some consideration for Rookie of the Year.

He really needs to get some more assists. He’s having a season reminiscent of Monahan’s first year, with a slightly higher offensive output.

Referee Eric Furlatt worked #SJSvsCGY game last night. #Flames were short-handed a season-high 9 times. Furlatt will work #ARIvsCGY tonight.
I wonder if Eric Furlatt received "a call" from the league office.....will be interested to see if he's as bad a ref tonight.

The worst part about that 9 shorthanded times is it doesn't tell the whole story. Multiple 5 on 3, with one of them being extended by 2 minutes because the referee couldn't handle a little yelling from the coach. I don't put it all on Furlatt since the Flames were definitely undisciplined last night, but he sure didn't help.

Absolutely the Flames have a good share of the blame for their penalties, most were warranted, however I found the calls were inconsistent and many times one-sided. No problem calling a 5-3 with 3 mins left to decide the game (both were legit calls) but unwilling to give Calgary the call when Bennett's stick was held in OT is just bad refereeing.

Solution: Put him full-time with Gaudreau and Monahan. He needs a little help to catch Larkin/Panarin/Ghostbear

^^^
This.

When even my wife spots a stick hold, it's gotta be pretty obvious. It was about 5 feet from him. He couldn't have missed it, so he must have just "let it go"....

That smirk he had when pointing both players to the box with 3 mins left what a tool

Yeah I don't agree. Monahan had 22 goals and 12 assists. Bennett has 15 goals 13 assists. Really not even a close comparison
