The Good:
-Sam Bennett. My god. His 4th goal the Flames' goal of the year?? Spectacular goal. A completely dominant BEAST all night. Can't wait till he's in his early 20s and has an extra 15lbs of muscle on him. He's going to be a great hybrid skill/power forward type player.
-Feels Goodman for Hiller. Didn't have to be the game saver, but for a guy coming in as cold as he was and getting a shutout is literally the best outcome possible that could have happened. A confident Hiller is a good Hiller and a real asset to this team in the 2nd half.
-TJ Brodie. No words need to be said. Shows yet again why he's the best player on the team. Gaudreau may be the elite offensive catalyst that stirs the drink. But not many players can control the game and skate like Brodie. And I mean that league-wide. Future Norris nominee, and quite possibly has the best contract in the league. A true #1D is emerging.
-No passengers and everyone played their hearts out. CP should be a happy place for a couple days
The Bad:
Probably the most ghetto hockey broadcast I've ever watched. The sound cutting in and out and sounding like my TV was under water. Thought I was having hearing issues half the time. Was Hrudey's mic broken in the 1st period for a bit? Then both announcers got disconnected and all I could do was facepalm. Noticed also that the camera was stuck on the corner view for a bit, as the signal from the normal cameras must have been lost.
Common SN. I know you guys won't do sweet #### all to fix it, but have some pride. Show your region that you actually care about putting on a quality program. Whomever is responsible for that gong show should be ashamed.
YAY FLAMES WON!!!

Athletes like Sam Bennett and Jordan Speith are truly special. Their personalities in my view are part of the reason for their success as players. Such class. Wonderful to watch.
