It could be, which is absolutely crazy considering that there has been some really good goaltending in this game.

Russia really does seem like a big team. Both of these teams are pretty darn good to be honest.

Points by under 18 year olds in U20 tournament.
1. Jagr, 1990 18;
2. Gretzky 1978 17;
3. Lindros 1978 17;
4. Puljujarvi 2016 17;
That's some company.

Laine seems like that hard-nosed, shoot first player. Puljujarvi seems to be of higher IQ and makes more improbable passes than he takes shots.
I think Laine would be the better pick for the Flames if it came down to it.

Yup, and this upcoming PP may get him tied with Jagr.

as bad as Canada is being dumped on with half decent goal tending they would have beaten Finland....they could have easily been playing today. Tournament was wide open this year

Even though Canada got bumped (a lot of people saw it coming) I think this tournament has been amazing and really fun to watch/follow.

These are legit penalties the Russians are taking, they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Russia can't stay out of the box now. They're obviously getting tired, and Finland just keeps pushing.

Finns have a very predictable zone entry on the PP. Easy to stop.

Hahaha, Russian captain breakdown. Takes an inexcusable penalty with 2:09 left in a 1-goal game.
