Finns are just a bit off on their offensive zone entries. Nerves perhaps getting to them.

Definitely, trying to do too much. They need to simplify and start dumping and forechecking.

Biggest game for most of these kids lives, playing at home. Man I'd have nerves too.

What a play by Strome to get back to intercept that pass!

Strome is flying out there. What a Backcheck to break up that odd man rush, that's Canadian hockey right there.

Glad to see they showed up and playing well today. I'm ok with them saving their best for elimination rounds and think many times team Canada needs a gut check or two before they realize their potential.

Also I gotta say... the announcer suggests some people thought this might be a 5 or 6 to 1 game for Finland. Let's come back down to planet earth... anything can happen at this tournament but Canada hasn't been that bad, and Finland hasn't been that good either. Yeesh, talk about trying to oversell the underdog angle.

They are playing very good today, I hate to say it but prior to the last 19 minutes they have been brutal so far in this tournament. I can see why some were saying it would be a blow out for the Finns.
