Did they even touch the puck once in OT?

Shout out to Taylor 'Not in the same ballpark' Hall for not even showing up tonight. 16 minutes of ice time, a -1, 1 shot on goal.

I'd disagree about Eberle, he was pretty decent tonight, as was RNH.

Even if it's flukey, it still makes me sad.

And that's the key really. Better for them to be a fringe playoff contender than the usual #1 pick frontrunner. They are getting much better goaltending this year, which even more than McDavid has them playing below average hockey instead of beer league level.

Saying their getting better goaltending is an understatement, they looked like an AHL team against the Buins and Talbot connected to the dead spirit of George Vezina.

look at that defense McLellan has to cobble together...
Nurse-Sekera
Davidson-Gryba
Nikitin-Schultz

our best defenseman out with injury with rookies Nurse and Davidson being standouts and our entire 2nd line injured

Lol Taylor Hall top 4 in scoring. People will still bash the guy. Can't be amazing every game. With that said, Talbot with a fluke performance.

Every team has injuries, sorry. And the fact is that they lost one defenseman and became that bad points to horrid depth, so that's self inflicted and injuries can't excuse it.

And again, when your team has that many number one draft picks, which means they have high second and third round picks, the whole, second line was injured thing sounds foolish, especially when one of those players is Poulliot who's frankly a third liner.

Lots of salt in here tonight.

Brutal game by the oilers though.
