Thoughts on Sportsnt Flames Regional Host Leah Hextall??

Leah is great at her job, as for the rest of Sportsnet crew that cover the flames I think Loubo is terrible. I think Wills is terrible. I think Ball is ok and Hrudey is very good. The radio team is OK for the most part. I for one would have been a big fan of Pinder doing Wills job, he always seems prepared for his job and has reasonable opinions. If the hosts ask Wills a question his response is almost always asking the hosts what they think before coming up with a regurgitation of exactly what they just said, the guy is brutal and the worst radio PBP guy i've heard in a long time.

She is a great host. Actually Sportsnet's best host, so we are lucky to have her for the Flames regional casts. For my personal tastes, she is attractive too. So sue me.

Brendan Dunlop is underrated I think.

I am pretty sure that these terms have been around for a long time and have been applied to different teams in the past. It's like "young guns". Finding the origin would probably be difficult.

OT, but I have to say I like Loubo. While he isn't lighting the world up with his journalistic contribution, there is something about him that makes me think he is genuinely excited to be doing what he does. To me has has an "Every Man" vibe.

I like her, she's been a great addition to the Flames broadcast, I worry she'll get poached for another market eventually. Her analysis is pretty spot on and she doesn't reach to much to make her point. Also doesn't hurt that she's really attractive.

I dunno, there's not much to say. She doesn't stand out as especially great, but she never bugs me either. Just goes and does her job. Can't complain.

Hextall is sharp, knows her stuff, and she never misses a beat. She'll probably get poached by a bigger broadcast.

I remember they played a highlight real of Ron Hextall being an absolute savage and the camera cut to her and she looked a kid on christmas. I've been a fan ever since.

As soon as the periods or game ends I've already flipped the channel or turned off the TV as I try to limit my RSN intake to the bare minimum possible. That said of what I have seen from her over the past few years she's perfectly fine and IMO it's the guys she's usually saddled with that make me want to leave the room or change the channel. Very dry and boring stuff.
