I thought the mods changed it as a joke, but they still haven't changed it back. I just thought it was funny. There was no deep meaning to it.

I should add that I'm as critical of this team as anyone so you probably won't see me chastising someone for it. We critique because we care, or at least that's what I assume most of the time. Usually it's pretty easy to separate the trolls from the fans.

From your lips to the hockey gods' ears. I can deal with Wideman's defensive gaffs if he's scoring or helping others score. When he doesn't help the offense he's pretty much a replacement level player.

Couldn't agree more. Wideman isn't actually playing all that different this year defensively, but his lack of offense is what concerns me. He was never the greatest in his own end but at least he was putting up points.
I still think, despite the general feelings around here, that Wideman is a capable second pairing powerplay specialist, but he's struggling right now.
I think he's due for a breakout game.

My guess is that since it is on SN Flames, that would be why it is in SD. Very strange that Shaw would do it that way.
