Huh, so we are one of the more accurate teams. I guess NHLers, by and large, have a hard time hitting the net.

...not quite...
It's because we so rarely have the puck, that we have so few shot attempts. Less shot attempts = less shots wide, less shots on net.
I still struggle to understand why we play an anti-possession brand of hockey. You win games (and cups) by controlling the puck, not chasing it all night.

The caps are playing terrible tonight.... we really need to bury one soon.
Typically going into the third 0-0 on the road is a good thing....not this years flames and not against a lethal team who hasn't shown up for the majority of 2 period. A goal could deflate the caps completely though!!!
