That might be true but it should signal something to you if people think you DO use paint.

It doesn't look bad per se, but it doesn't look much like a dog, and it most certainly doesn't spell "DM".
Is there a reason you want it to be a dog? What if someone could make it so that it clearly spelled DM but was a fire ant or a hot chick with a crossbow?

I'd hate to give away how I did this but here it is.
For the D I had to find a font that I think would match the Bottom of that Logo. I have specified it in previous posts, but I wanted to do up something that involved my Initials and my love for Dogs as well as me being born in the year of the Dog. As for making that look more like the letter M, believe me I have tried playing around with it and connecting it but it just didn't look that appealing to me.

See, that looks better. It looks like a plucky pony, and a pretty good looking one. But the letters are still invisible and, if visible, still don't spell anything obvious. Better logo though.
Pony rider fitness. Pony express fitness. Jump on it fitness. It would work with any of those.

Thats actually the original picture and its a Zebra, haha. I just stole the bottom part of that and added the Letter D to it.

Ah. Now I get the dog thing.
With this logo you should maybe remove the middle of the three dots on the top of the head (it looks like a mane) and add more emphasis to the other 2 (making the dog ears more prominent) and alter the nose piece to mimic a more pointed dog snout rather than a horse like rounded snout.
Maybe play with a lolling tongue of a different colour, just to see if that works.

I would suggest a name but this forum has a swear filter.
You can't just create a brand and then come up with products. When people say that the logo sells itself, they are speaking of a brand that carries cachet because it has become associated with status, fame, quality, or other positive features. Dogs and a random guy with the initials DM are not selling points.
Don't think this is just piling on, you just seem unwilling to accept that this is not a good idea, nor is it well executed. Maybe if enough people are blunt, you will learn from this and put your creativity to better use.

So, to clarify, you didn't design the Zebra logo? You just copied it and replaced the head?

I think it might come from a design company that put it on pinterest. In which case, perhaps some more extensive modifications are in order...
I'm still not sure I understand the OP's intention. Is it just branding for a sports clothing line, or just some swag associated with a fitness training business, or just a pet project for fun?

I don't.
I see a goldfish with unicorn horn swimming almost straight down.
I really don't see dog even knowing how to look at it to make a dog.
Also if you appropriated part of someones registered trademark I wouldn't get anything else printed up (and the zebra has a registered trademark tag on it). Any use of such things in whole or in part are frowned upon.

You ripped off someone else's logo and now you want us to come up with a name for the company? Wow.

This thread has taken some crazy turns. Wildly mediocre first view, OP pile on, OP defense, Hat actually looks pretty good, design turns out to be a rip-off.
Entertaining at least.

I dont see the potential for any lawsuits whatsoever. No company with a veritable army of litigators would have any issues with that. Nope.
