This is quite possibly the least intelligent statement I've ever seen.

Or RNH.

McDavid really couldn't have hurt a a worse part of his body as an Oiler.

So, the Oil bring yet another No 1 pick who is physically unready for the NHL up too early and ruin him.

Elvis Costello was wrong. Clown time is never over.

That's the problem with that franchise, they need to rely on things like luck to ice a competitive team. There's not much luck involved in tanking every year, and now the greasers have an excuse to go full tank. When we lost our best player we still made it to the playoffs and won a round.

Ouch. But this has to help Domi out in the Calder race.

Hope he's not out too long

Wonder what it is that they know already it is long-term. Shoulder seperation?

Domi needs like 3 or 4 guys to die before he's getting a Calder Trophy.

Edmonton seriously need to teach their young players how not to get injured

Hope the kid's okay and wasn't a career ender for an injury. But it's the Oil and there track record with handling injured players isn't good. It's halloween level scary. As for the Calder I still feel Eichel might have the inside track and eastern media bias working in his favor. Would love to see Domi at least in the conversation along with our own Bennett.

He's got 11 points so far, tied for 2nd in rookie scoring. Tied for 2nd in goals.
Clearly one of the front runners.

We talking about McDavid not being physically ready for the NHL? Seriously? Okay then.

With almost 70 games to go....

The Coyotes came out like gang busters and have really died down since. I'll be very surprised if Domi is a nominee.

If anything the fact the Yotes are a bad team favors him. He will continue to get quality ice time because they don't have anyone else.
Someone will have to score goals - and he'll be in on a lot of them.

Opens the door for Bennett to get some points here and make a run for it.

I'm not saying there's no chance.

Just saying there's at least a few guys I'd choose over him if I were to predict the winner. Bennett included.

Without McDavid, I would say the Calder race will be one of Domi, Ehlers, Eichel, Parayko, Panarin and Bennett.

Take your pick.

Die off and fall behind or literally 'Die'?
