The game got out of hand in the third, but for the first 45 minutes or so, I totally saw why the Canadiens were 9-0. That is a really good hockey team that ran into some bad puck luck, and a solid goaltending performance by the other guy, which was simply bound to happen eventually.

I only watched period 1 & 2 and I concur that the Habs looked good. The Canucks looked good too which does not bode well for our preseason prediction that they would miss the playoffs.

It was a good game all around.
