It was hilarious when the Nuck fans started booing when they couldn't take the puck away from Hudler.

Thoughts:

3 on 3 is an absolute gong show.

Can't complain about a win, especially against Vancouver. Feels good, man. But the Flames have to find ways to compete outside of the 3rd period, and find some scoring outside of the top line.

Gio looks...off. Really looking forward to having Brodie back in the lineup, Hamilton just doesn't seem like a good fit for him.

Screw the Canucks.

Those Canuck fans deserved it. BooIng Hudler because he was controlling the puck and not throwing it away. That's three on three - not giving up possession.

That's about as good a game as Miller can play so it's good to see the Flames win despite a goaltender having his best game.

At this very point in time Johnny Hockey has more points than the entire Oilers team combined.

It is official, Stockton wins 7-0 and Jon Gillies gets a shutout in his pro debut.

Johnny Gaudreau is a special player. I can't believe he's a Calgary Flame. We are incredibly lucky to have him.

Hiller struggled a bit but what a great read to rob Sedin and keep the Flames alive.

Gaudreau obviously our best player tonight. Other standouts were Monahan, Bennett and Frolik. i thought Kulak acquitted himself well.

I freaking love 3 on 3. One missed play by Wideman and Vancouver was going the other way on a break. Heart pounding action of the best variety and far better than the shootout.

Damn that whole sequence should be a gif.
And the crowd booing, or were they booing the Canucks?

Flames mantra this year: just get it to OT and Johnny will do the rest
