God I hope the BOA turns into something worth looking forward too.

He tuned up Anderson in Penticton and was way too happy with himself over it.

Later on backed down from Smith.

He plays for the Oilers, and thus, must be punished.

In seriousness, sounds like he was being a bit of an idiot during the rookie tournament.

I wouldn't mind this:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler (don't break up a good thing).
Bouma-Bennett-Colborne/Jones (offensive/defensive balance - give Colborne the nod if it looks like he and Bennett might click)
Byron/Jooris/Granlund- Backlund-Colborne/Jones (Checking line)
Ferland/Raymond-Stajan-Shore/Bollig/Poirier, etc

Everyone wants Raymond gone, but I could see a comeback year. The big issue is that he's never been good enough defensively, so he's either got to be sheltered with Bennett or a 4th line guy.

It already was. The waterbottle incident. The McTavish stare. Gaudreau's 2 goals in 16 seconds.

A sure sign of the maturing of the Flames lineup was when Bieksa changed from proper noun into a verb: to Bieksa.

I think the game has caught up to Raymond. In the past, he was one of the fastest guys in the game. So much so that he could literally burn around those few dmen on each team with insufficient footspeed. I think those players have largely been weeded out, and the overall speed has increased to the point that Raymond's best weapon just isn't as much of a stand out anymore, and everything else he did was just average.

Not a fan of him and think the emergence guys like Ferland and the move to bring in Frolik makes him an odd man out, and too expensive to be so. I hope we can find a way to trade him. He's a serviceable guy, but this team doesn't need him.

Second or third line. Is he exclusively RW? I'd probably put him with Backlund.
