Helluva play by Martin. He's been struggling with the bat, but he brings top notch defense every night.

I might be just fooling myself but I hope they at least a chance at re-signing him.

I take back what I said earlier. Martin isn't really struggling with the bat tonight.

The Jays had a 1.5 game lead before starting this 10-game road trip

They'll go home with either a 2.5 or a 3.5 game lead

Can't blame the Brave player for being upset, that was an amazing framing job by Martin on a clear ball.

So assuming a Jays and Yankees win, the Jays' magic number is 14? (jays wins or Yankees losses).

So how do injury announcements typically work in MLB? For an injury like Tulo's would there typically be something said in terms of a return date?

Latest update for Tulo is he's seeking a second opinion from some specialist in Boston....In MLB, there's usually a timeframe with regards to return from injuries, then there's the whole rehab in the minors thing which won't happen because all the AAA, AA, and short A farm teams' seasons are done at this point. Right now for Tulo it's 2-3 weeks. He'll probably be back in the ALDS if there's nothing more to the injury after his visit in Boston this week.

Exploratory surgery for Travis next week. Sounds like that's his season done, as was pretty much expected.
