He's a legit big league ace for some reason. Great performance for David so far. That K against Mike Trout with 2 men on was HUGE.

Only their closer (Street) and Bedrosian are left in the pen. Bedrosian is crap like Loup so we've used up their entire pen pretty much.

Lowe with an absolute exclamation point by striking out the side in the bottom 9th! Great win by the Jays and what a masterful performance by Price tonight.

That's exactly how the Blue Jays need to approach each game down the stretch. 9 runs but just one homer and 4 doubles. 4 walks (all in the 1st) forcing them to pitch to them instead of around them the rest of the game. Work the pitch count of the starter and get into the bullpen, especially in the first game of the series. Sacrifice flies and sacrifice bunts. Good/great defense. Starting pitching that gives you a quality start (very good in Price's case). Bullpen that comes in and shuts it down, only having to work a couple innings.

Tulo looks like he's starting to get out of his slump, and it looks like Revere is fully out of his slump. Bautista needs to get it going though. His average is now only percentage points ahead of guys like Pennington and Goins. I know he's an RBI guy, but he hasn't been hitting all that well of late in any capacity.

Yankees raking early, looks like they'll take this one. Jays need to keep pace tonight.

Almost game time!

If the Jays go .500 the rest of the way, they'd end up with 87 wins ... the teams chasing them in the wild card would have to go something like 26-15 to overtake them which is asking a lot. I know no one is excited about the Wild Card or wants their team to end up there, but after so long, I'm just so excited to see this team playing as it is.
