Except most other NHL cities have winters that actually end when they're supposed to. I've never had an issue with the weather itself during winter, it's the fact that it can drag on well into May that's driving me to move somewhere else

Some years yes, but not lately, after January this year Calgary had a total of 9 days in the minus.

Some years yes, but not lately, after January this year Calgary had a total of 9 days in the minus.
I don't count anything below 10 degrees as decent spring weather. In our slo-pitch league which started in late April, our first 3 games were played in single digit temperatures and it was miserable
