you are talking about world cups and olympics, at least those tickets get sold. Nobody is going to the Pan Am Games.
Torontonians say they would attend an Olympic event but not a Pan Am Games event? Really? If you've always wanted to see beach volleyball, go see it. Is Canada vs Brazil any different than Canada vs Italy? Nobody can name a beach volleyball athlete from any country anyways.
If it's beach volleyball Brazil is definitely the team you wanna see anyway.
Nice. At these games as well. Other than whining soccer parents it has been a great 4 days for all
4 days? You are a trooper. We rolled in for a half day thinking it would be over by noon, but nope, he put the hammer down and qualified for the medal round. Had till stay till five. Was a long day.
I used to work for a team based out of Toronto. It seemed very few people worked 8-5.
Some came in crazy early,
Others showed up at 930.
All left at 4.
I find at our office it's the people who come in early that are sneakier. There are a few that say they are there at 7am or 8am and leave at 3 or 4pm, but every time I am the first one in, they are usually getting there just before the rest of the herd at like 8:50am and still claim they were there earlier. They seem to think that if they get there before the boss, they can say they were in as early at they want. It's funny to see the look of disappointment when they see other people are there earlier and can catch them on it.
Personally, I find that no matter what time I come in, I can never leave before 6pm, so unless I really need to, I never come in before 9am.

Actually, like most Torontonians, it quickly became cool to like the Panama games because everyone else was trashing it, so I caught a game this weekend. Now it is hard to get tickets to the entertaining events. I managed to get Columbia vs Argentina indoor volleyball prelim tickets, and the venue was packed.

LOL, is there a rash rate of broken ankles jumping on and off bandwagons then eh?
Good to hear Canadian athletes getting live in person support!
