As said by many before me, I don't know how he didn't win the Calder. He is such a special player and generates so many Grade A opportunities. The kid got robbed in my opinion.

Gaudreau may have been snubbed on the Calder, but Ekblad came in as an 18 year old defenseman and also displayed a Calder level rookie season.

I'm not worried because if there's anything we've seen from Gaudreau's career so far, it's that he does everything in his power to prove doubters wrong.
