Not sure how sexist things are, in this instance.
All I can find is it evenly applied, when married to an 'outsider'. One of the families who got the order to move by May 1 referenced here:

She moved to Kahnawake 26 years ago, when she married Marvin McComber, who grew up there.

But, you certainly implied that it was ok to be a bigot in this circumstance when you stated:

Wonder if any one would freak out if you applied the same circumstances to any woman that wanted to live with their foreign boyfriend in Canada, I don't get to go live in the states just because I'm shagging some yank bird. Not sure why the band shouldn't have the same right to protect their sovereign territory.

That said they should have a legal eviction process rather than the peasants torches route

There's no right answer. Obviously, my opinion is that that moment passed 15 years ago and I know yours is some time in the future. But regardless of our disagreement, when would you think enough is enough?
