The best part of Operation Northwoods was that it was (a) only declassified a couple years before 9/11, and (b) met with an official condemnation from the Cuban government mere weeks before 9/11.
Yet truthers looked at something that had been very much in the news at that very time and figure the government went with it anyway.
If I remember my history right Northwoods was presented to Kennedy and he basically asked the designers if they smoked a lot of week growing up.
So it went into a filing cabinet along with the plans to invade Canada, retrieve alien technology from the moon, topple the soviet government under Lenin, and mine Alberta Oil using tactical nuclear weapons.
(and yes those plans all exist)

So if the Saudis financed the largest attack on US soil, why are they still our "friends" and why is thier ass not kicked halfway across Kazakhstan?
THIS is what Kerrey is referring to. It's not a conspiracy in the normal sense.
It's justice vs pragmatism. The Saudis should answer for what they've done, but they're an important ally in that part of the world. Personally I think there should be a lot more of these questions than this inane business of trying to find government employees putting thermite on steel beams

Can't be that important of an ally if they find it in their hearts to murder 3000 people.
I'm not disagreeing; I'm just a little jaded at the idea that our OPEC buddies are above answering for those murders. Because money and strategic position in the M.E.

Matata, can you provide some links to these two facts please?
Crack cocaine:
Here's the wiki page, which is rather flattering regarding the CIA's involvement (the CIA has investigated itself, and came to the conclusion that it did nothing wrong, case closed): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_in...ne_trafficking
What's really telling about the "US gov't pumped crack cocaine into black communities to fund illegal wars in South America" conspiracy is how unanimous the story is, the dealers, cops, agents all tell the same story, it's really just the top brass denying this story.
To summarize, what the US gov't was found guilty of was creating the circumstance that allowed MLK to be assassinated (getting the US gov't to admit fault within it's own justice system is no small feat), factor in that this happened in an era where most of the prominent black civil rights leaders ended up dead or in jail, plus the US gov'ts rich history of treating it's black citizens like disposable human garbage and it paints a pretty clear picture of what happened to MLK.
As long as it is easier to act behind closed than it is to act in the public domain, human beings will conspire.

That's all bunk. Complete bunk. The government wasn't found to have done anything.
It was a civil trial, where Coretta King sued an all too willing restaurant owner for $100 for conspiring with the government to kill MLK. As the defendant didn't defend the accusations (in order to gain some notoriety and money from the newfound celebrity), the jury had no option but to find in favor of the plaintiff. The accusations were followed I up with an investigation and unsurprisingly laughed at.
Stop reading those sites. They're awful and the make things up

Websites like that freak me out. I remember when conspiracy sites were easy to spot with their trashy and lurid page designs. Sites like GlobalResearch look pretty legit, until you click the links and read the gibberish steaming out of the fever pits. The question I can't quite answer is if the people hosting the site and writing the stories believe what they're posting, or if they're just sitting back having a chuckle while they take another hit from the pipe.

Yeah, because we know how tight and effective security was for non-black political figures in that era. No doubt JFK, RFK, and George Wallace were all inside jobs.

A series of expose articles in the San Jose Mercury-News by reporter Gary Webb told tales of a drug triangle during the 1980s that linked CIA officials in Central America, a San Francisco drug ring and a Los Angeles drug dealer. According to the stories, the CIA and its operatives used crack cocaine--sold via the Los Angeles African-American community--to raise millions to support the agency's clandestine operations in Central America.
Quote:
But in the weeks following publication, Webb's peers doubted the merit of the articles. Fellow journalists at the Washington Post, New York Times and Webb's own editor accused him of blowing a few truths up into a massive conspiracy.
Amongst Webb's fundamental problems was his implication that the CIA lit the crack cocaine fuse. It was conspiracy theory: a neat presentation of reality that simply didn't jibe with real life. Webb later agreed in an interview that there is no hard evidence that the CIA as an institution or any of its agent-employees carried out or profited from drug trafficking.
Still, the fantastic story of the CIA injecting crack into ghettos had taken hold. In response to the public outcry following Webb's allegations--which were ultimately published in book form under the title Dark Alliance--the CIA conducted an internal investigation of its role in Central America related to the drug trade. Frederick Hitz, as the CIA Inspector General-- an independent watchdog approved by Congress--conducted the investigation. In October 1998, the CIA released a declassified version of Hitz's two-volume report.
The IG's report cleared the CIA of complicity with the inner-city crack cocaine trade. It refuted charges that CIA officials knew that their Nicaraguan allies were dealing drugs. But, the report said that the CIA, in a number of cases, didn't bother to look into allegations about narcotics And the Hitz report describes how there was little or no direction for CIA operatives when confronted by the rampant traffic in drugs in Central American during the 1980s.
In other words the reporter that started the conspiracy theory was a liar liar pants on fire.
Which means the the luminati and lizard people got to him.

The reporter lied and embellished his story and admitted it, the Hitz came back and said it was BS, and the CIA was pretty much guilty of laziness and stupidity in controlling the Nicaraguans who were dealing drugs.
The problem was that people like Maxine Young jumped all over this theory to make political points that the government was evil and selling drugs to inner city LA, but her premise was based on a dishonest reporters story.

I wish people would apply the same level of disbelief to the conspiracy theory that they apply to the official version.
I've never understood why the slightest inconsistency in an official report is absolute proof of the work of our lizard over masters but a reeking hole a mile wide in the conspiricy story is utterly ignored.

Actually here's what I really like is this logic.
Anything that's refuted conspiracy wise is caused by the Government getting to them.
So my question is simple. If Alex Jones and the Dylan Avery were even close in their theories, you know kicking up dust and exposing the truth, why aren't they dead yet?
Well theory one is that they make lots of money by monetizing the theories that they put out and don't actually believe them. (Look at how many versions of Loose Change there are)
Or two, they're government plants putting out insane conspiracy theories to distract people from the up coming invasion by the government, reverse vampires and extra terrestrials, because those hints are right in front of us, but we're distracted by Kennedy Assasinations, 9/11 theories/ moon landing theories etc etc.
Or three, The American Government fully believes in free enterprise and if these people can get rich by selling this errr stuff to the rubes, who cares as long as they pay their taxes.
Or wait four. These conspiracies are real ,Jones and Avery are Extra-terrestrial lizard people infiltrators who are doing this to help force the downfall of the government so that the UN and the bug eyed aliens can slip in and win the next election to continue our rule by the Lizards

Regarding Bob Kerrey, his quote means exactly what I said it means....the governments of the USA, in particular the Bush family, and Saudi Arabia have been working together for 30 years and we're not allowed to know about it. Kerrey's in the process of suing the government to gain access to classified information on behalf of victims and survivors. When I see pictures of Bush Jr and the king of Saudi Arabia holding hands on a mid afternoon stroll around he ranch in Crawford I have some questions.
Project Northwoods:
Quote:
It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner enroute from the United States to Jamaica, Guatemala, Panama or Venezuela. The destination would be chosen only to cause the flight plan route to cross Cuba. The passengers could be a group of college students off on a holiday or any grouping of persons with a common interest to support chartering a non-scheduled flight. a. An aircraft at Eglin AFB would be painted and numbered as an exact duplicate for a civil registered aircraft belonging to a CIA proprietary organization in the Miami area. At a designated time the duplicate would be subsituted for the actual civil aircraft and would be loaded with the selected passengers, all boarded under carefully prepared aliases. The actual registered aircraft would be converted to a drone
Swapping aircrafts for drones is one of the crazier sounding
9-11 theories but it's not like it has never been thought of
before. JFK most definitely canned the idea but he also wound
up dead a year later. The document is alarming in that they
have no problem killing civilians and military members if it
accomplishes a goal.
Project Hammer is worth a read...or just watch this video...
The financial connections and the Bush connections to project
Hammer may be true, or may not be. But what is fact is that
three months after 9-11 Bush made it impossible to find out.
Whistleblowers. I know James Corbett is considered a nut, but
he's not wrong on his list of whistleblowers...
It's interesting if nothing other than the visa office in
Jedah and it's connection to 15 of the 19 hijackers.
If you need names from each category check Major General
Stubblebine, Sibel Edmonds, Barry Jennings. All interesting
stories. Or one of the 118 fire fighters who challenge the
story. Or William Rodriquez. Or Richard Grove. Or this video..
If the 85 videos (from gas stations, hotels, parking lots and
the Pentagon) show nothing, why were they confiscated and why
are they classified?
As for Stratasec/Securcom, ok only one direct Bush relative and
one distant cousin were on the board. That's all. And pure
coincidence they handled security for all the airports and
buildings involved.
The real issue is that a major piece of evidence was thrown
away, covered up, never to be seen again. You scrape Texas
bare looking for pieces of the Challenger, rebuild 80% of it
to see what happened. Then you go and throw away an engine
belonging to an airplane that killed 3000 people? Weird.
I give up on the hijackers being alive. That was probably a mix
up. As was the BBC reporting building 7 fell 20 minutes before
it did.
I'm done. Oh wait, the dancing Israelis. They said in no
uncertain terms they were there with cameras in hand to document
the event. That doesn't seem important in an investigation?
Weird.
Insider trading? That's an easy one. Just look at the snopes
article.
There are some facts here. It's not as easy as the commission
report says.
And here is a video of the nose cone of a 767 blasting through 47 structural steel columns, two structural steel exoskeletons, two layers of aluminum cladding and emerging in perfect form on the other side...
Not saying this proves anything. Just an interesting comparison.

The guys flying the planes were, according to the evil government in cahoots with the Saudis, Saudis and Yemanis, what is the point of the conspiricy, to invade Saudi Arabia?
There is no point to a conspiricy to invade Iraq if the guys flying the plane arnt effing Iraqis! it makes no sense at all.
If it was a conspiricy it would be, at the very least, consistent.
ok, I'm out, I'm not watching two hour videos. Thanks
And anytime you mention Corbett its just laughable. The guys is about as certifiable as they come.
This stuff has all been run through over and over again. you're bringing up stuff that's been run through multiple times even on this site.
The England stuff is completely countered by a lot of other witnesses.
the disenting firefighters stuff has been run through over and over again as well and pretty much ripped apart if you want to go looking for it.
Personally I was on board with the 9/11 conspiracy theorists for a while at the start until things like science and pyhsics and intellectual dishonesty and creative editing and outright bulls%t by guys like Alex Jones and Avery and other members of the 9/11 truthers got completely exposed.
There was a special on a few years back where they actually tested what happened with 9/11 and invited members of the architechs and engineers truthers and completely humiliated them.
but at least they have space lasers.
But posting 2 hour videos, come on man, its clickbait.
