We're making good progress and with the Flames pick coming up I'd like to get suggestions for prospects to be included in the poll. Ideally, the poll will include 5-7 prospects to choose from.

without knowing Boston's pick.
Svechnikov
Guryanov
Merkley
Harkins
Konecny
Chabot
Roy
Zboril
Kylington
White
Bittner
Think that is a good mix of high/low risk, positions, and type of prospects projected to be around there.

In addition to Sureloss's list, I think Boeser and Bracco deserve a poll spot. Boeser is 8th on Craig Button's list as Bracco is being touted as a Gaudreau type high-skill talent who might be the BPA.

Poll thread has been created. I limited the number of options to ten. Nice problem for the Flames to have with more than ten realistic options for the pick.

I think there's a lot of medium reward, low risk guys like Bittner, Chabot and White, and there's a lot of high risk, high reward guys on the table with Guryanov, Kylington, and Bracco. It's practically eeney meeney miney mo!

let's get this thread back moving again
Svechnikov won the poll, i suppose we could do a run-off poll, but i think it's safe to just proceed with svechnikov as the pick.

Base on the results of the poll, with the 15th pick the Calgary Flames select RW Yevgeni Svechnikov.
The Edmonton Oilers are on the clock.

With the 16th pick the Edmonton Oilers select D - Thomas Chabot from Saint John of the QMJHL.
After selecting McDavid 1st overall, the Oilers were looking at a defenseman and Chabot and Kylington were at the top of the list. Liked Chabot's two way game. Roy and Zboril were other possibilities as well but the choice came down to the 2 defenseman (Chabot/Kylington).

The Winnipeg Jets would like to thank our hosts here, the Florida Panthers, and we would like to congratulate the Anaheim Ducks on their Stanley Cup victory. We would also like to say hello to all of our fans back at our draft parties at Tijuana Yacht Club and Whiskey Dix.
The Winnipeg Jets are proud to select with the 17th pick in the 2015 draft, from the Portland Winterhawks, Paul Bittner.
Gord Miller: "We welcome here with us Winnipeg Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff, whose first selection of the day was big power forward Paul Bittner from the Portland Winterhawks. What can you tell us about him, Chevy"
Kevin Cheveldayoff: "Well Gord, this is a player our scouts know very well as we have Petan and de Leo playing in Portland, and so we know exactly the kind of physical and skilled game he can bring. Obviously size is something you can't teach and we really want to a build a team in Winnipeg that can't be pushed around, be a big body in front of the net and at the same time can win battles, create chances and play well in all three zones. So we think this is a player who can do that for us. Having two first round picks is a luxury that made us feel we could take Bittner where we did."

With the 19th pick in the draft the Detroit Red Wings step up to the podium and, with a faint smirk, choose Denis Guryanov of Ladia Togliatti in the MHL.

Knowing they got a top 5 talent at 19 because the other teams lack the courage and developmental skill of the Wings organization the scouting staff spend several minutes mentally high-5ing each other before getting down to the business of preparing for which late-round Swedes they are going to "steal".
