Great season and inspiring, the Flames have nothing to hang their head about.
They broke into the playoffs, they kicked out the Canucks and saved the NHL
In game 2-3-4 they were very competitive with one of the three Stanley Cup contenders.
I do believe that their lack of depth caught up with them and the tank ran dry.
Its sexy and fashionable to compare this team to Colorado and nod your head knowingly and say they won't be back next year. But going against Convention is the Flames style.
This season was great, and I love this team.
Next season will be better.

If you'd told me in October that the Flames would be fighting for anything other than the right to draft Connor McDavid this year, I would have laughed.
Instead, I got to watch one of the league's most exciting young teams play into the 2nd week of May. The best part is, that with the exception of Hudler and Gio, all of our key players will be under 30 next year. I also expect that Bennett and Ferland will make the team out of camp; some others might too. Monahan and Bennett should be a hell of a 1-2 punch up the middle going forward. Exciting times in Flamesland.

Amazing season. Can't wait for next year, and for the inevitable 2014-2015 season highlights video.
Hell, even a season comebacks video would be 20 minutes long.
Bravo Flames. Once the disappointment wears off, nothing but pride should remain.

Very fun, very positive season. Loved to watch every game feeling like we were in it. They were feisty, pesky and surprising. Time to spend the offseason preparing for next year when we won't surprise anyone. Lots of work to do, but nothing to indicate they can't do it. Great feeling.
Hope face offs become a focus this summer as they were bad this series, but having something so fixable and easy to focus on is just an other positive. Looking forward to seeing what the boys have to show next year. GFG

The Flames brought it all season long, surprised us, thrilled us, amazed us. Then they made the Playoffs and busted up those punks in YVR.
They faced the giants in Anaheim and brought it best they could! Great experience for everyone on the team to be used in the future. Very happy with the coaching and Bob 'Artley and all his great quotes.
Heres to Johnny for rookie of the year and Hartley for Jack Adams.

I don't have the words. Not enough of them. Not enough of the ones that are right enough to describe how proud I am of this team, this organization, this fanbase and this community.
We are part of something special.

As disappointing as this end is, this team has been great fun to watch. Thank you Calgary Flames for everything you have given to all your fans and to this city this season. It's going to be great to see how this young team develops. The future looks promising for this team. Thanks for the great work!

Crazy it's over.
Disappointment and a pretty satisfied feeling of understanding right now.. One of those will be gone soon, just really stings with how invested I'm sure we've all became in this team as the season went on.
Amazing to get this far and obviously the guys are going to be pretty upset and replay a handful of key moments in their heads (im sure Hartley already has some videos to discuss planned out). All of that experience, the heroic moments, the gaffs, the energy and emotion and being completely worn out but expected to dig deeper and find a way to move ahead.. Those are things that no amount of first overall talents, new arenas, public funding, bold moves or visual improvements will ever be able to recreate or obtain. Last offseason, I saw us ending up with Penguins calibre Center depth with McJesus, Monahan & Bennett - not that j wanted to tank. I just believed the masses. Everything changed only a few games in for me and didn't look back. Can honestly say that from start to finish this season goes down as earning the most loyalty and blind faith of any I've experienced as a fan to date.
Bring on the draft lottery! Sorry. I mean training camp/preseason.

So sad it had to end, but this has been such an amazing ride, and as usual CP has made it even more enjoyable. You guys are the best!
Thank you Calgary Flames! Thank you Calgary Puck!
Since I live in Sweden, at least there is that tiny silver lining that I will finally get some proper sleep for a few months...

Good season but we shouldn't approach this like some overachievement and all those "we were supposed to be in MacDavid race" talks. This team is exactly where their skills are now and should confirm it with playoffs next season. Bennet development is crucial here, we need to find good skilled wingers for him.

Great year and really excited thinking that we've also got Poirier, Klimchuk, Jankowski, Gillies, etc waiting in the wings who we've not even seen yet (except Poirier's cup of coffee).

Thank you Flames for a season with big S! The only good thing for me now is that there will be no lack of sleep till October :-) Did not miss a game this season, waking up for each game at night /starts from 1-4:30am/. Was in Calgary in Nov 2014 for 5 home games too. Exhausted but really happy Flames fan here. I will relax now, my Flames heart needs some rest too, many, many nervous moments during the whole season :-) So yeah, thank you Flames! I will be ready to cheer for you guys next season again! Go Flaaaaaaamess!!! Greetings from Czech republic to lovely Calgary!

Best and most lovable Flames team in the last ten years. They were fantastic and I'm sure they've inspired a whole new generation of Flames fans.
I haven't been so inspired by a team in a long time.

Thanks Flames, what a fantastic season!
This team was exactly where it should have been. Hopefully next season we can build on this and become a true contender.
