Really really tough loss. At home, with some good jump, Bouma and Ferland back in the lineup, up 2-1 in the second period...you had to win this game.
Not going to say that the Flames can't win, but their chances just plummeted to less than a pimple on a gnats nose.

Any reasonable realistic person should know this team has overcome the odds all season long.
We gotta believe, baby. Just believe!

Mistakes by otherwise-heroic rookies? That's probably going to happen. We've played Anaheim like we deserve to be in the second round. I'm proud of our guys and hope we see them play another home game next week.

Jebo te patak. Should have had this one.
We need to get them hearing footsteps like the Canucks were when Ferland was causing a ruckus.
The Ducks just seem way harder to unnerve.

If anybody thinks this series isn't close anymore is dead wrong. The Flames lost this game, they weren't beaten.
I still think we see game 6 at home.

I really can't stand that Arse'eOl that does the colour commentary!!! But please never ever use your voice in hockey ever EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Go home and leave your useless information to yourself!
You provide ZERO insight into the game and Zero perspective... please go home!!!

Flames lose 4-2 in Game 4. Ducks lead series 3-1. Brink of elimination
Well that was unfortunate.

In fairness, screw being realistic.
If we were realistic we'd have lost the draft lottery and be picking 3rd overall.

What would the best comeback team in the NHL be without an epic series comeback?
Icing on the cake.

I wasn't thrilled about Monahans bump back either. They had abandoned that play for so long because it had been failing.
Johnny should have just shot it out. He is a Rookie but he is a rookie use to taking over a game and the ego sometimes can kill you.

Anyone blaming one player or another needs to stop and think...
If in October you were offered that the Flames would be trailing in the 2nd round against one of the best teams in the league AFTER beating the Canucks in the previous series....would you have thought..."OK I am in"?

Not that I am counting the Flames out, but I'm so proud of the boys. A team I am proud to cheer for, and looks like I can be proud of for the next bunch of years. They have given the Ducks all they can handle. I believe this team has a Cup in them. Their desire is great. GO FLAMES GO!

Tough loss. They played well outside of a couple costly mistakes.
Put it in the past and take the next game in Anaheim.
Don't really understand the need for a goat all the time. Especially in the playoffs, especially considering what this group has overcome to make it here. Young players will make mistakes. It hurts but shouldn't be that surprising.
Anyway, the season ain't over 'til it's over. Still believe in this group.

Sometimes sports isn't about being reasonable.
Be a fan for pete's sake for once, instead of the "voice of reason".
It'll be more fun for you.

Why play the games at all then?
We were supposed to be in the McDavid lottery, and now we're in the 2nd round? Goddamit fans like you piss me off.

If there was no blood, why was that a 4 minute penalty? Still haven't figured that out. Whatever, they didn't give up and played to the end. So proud of the guys.
