If the Flames go down 3 games to 0 they are not coming back.

Put in Mcgrattan. Not to fight. Not to hit. Not to be a difference maker. But to let him go out the proper way.

They should have given him his last NHL game against Winnipeg game #82.

Default Release the McGrattan

I like this idea. Bring in Mcgrattan. He could bring a spark and put him on Johnny's other wing for a shift or two randomly. Then if they try to match up perry/getzlaf or Kesler against Johnny... Mcgrattan will have the opportunity to take some serious liberties with their top guys like they tried to do to Johnny last night. They showed a clear intent to injure him... Let's return the favour on their stars.

I think it would be a great gesture but you have to admit, it would also be an epic Ogie Oglethorpe moment too.

Dude says he isn't retiring. A gesture like that would be an insult I think to him.

That's not how the game is played anymore. All that would happen is he wouldn't be able to catch those guys, and if he did he would take a dumb penalty. Perry is a tough hombre - do you think he will be intimidated by McGratton. Not at all - he would RELISH the chance to be matched up against him.

McGratton is not an NHL player and doesn't have a role in this series.
