All of that in one 6 game series. Amazing stuff.

Thanks AC, great job as always.

In both cases, the player was admiring their pass behind the net...exact same spot on the ice too...
I was thinking of the same hit!

It was actually Yelle though, FYI.

Yeah, I said Yelle was in my OP.

The other things about the video I posted (right after the hit) is that it is the only (I haven't seen any pictures) reference of the Flames bringing in Bill Goldberg to counter Hulk Hogan (and his daughter, who sung the anthem) in Tampa.

Oh FFS, too many drinks for AC during the Detroit/Tampa game...
I saw Sarich, and forgot he was with Tampa at the time...

There's no doubt he got quite a bit off leniency from the refs, but hey, when they give it to you, you take it.

Kid might have just made his entire career in the last series.

He didn't get that much leniency. Charging is if you launch yourself or skate into the hit. Ferland obviously understands this and glides into hits. He's not breaking any rules with his hits per se, the worst part is that the rule is subjective and up to the call of the refs. It was pretty clear the refs wanted to call things on Ferland and Engelland to prevent another brawl from breaking out.

Lol at bloody Stajan interview being Ferkland's fault.

I have that feeling too. Like that check on Burrows seen early in the video. Burrows went flying face first into the boards and that could've been called for boarding.

It's a good thing the refs like many of us think Burrows is a turd that deserved it

This was an awesome way to start my day and get me ready for the game tonight, hope to see more of the same. In a sick way, I hope they let him keep the "79". He really has made it his own.
Thanks AC

Are you talking about the first hit on Burrows @ 0:11 of the video? I don't see how that could possibly be considered as boarding, since Burrows is far enough away from the boards to land on the ice and slide before hitting them.

I was just going to say the same thing. The Sbisa hit is the one I think he got away with one the. The Burrows was a non issue.

I don't know what I enjoyed more, all his hits, or the look on Bieksa's face after some of them. Thanks, AC! That was GOLD!

There are going to be dislikes on this video. I have already started sending it to my friends who are Canucks fans.

At least they have sense of humour...

Me: "Please review this video for our meeting on Friday"
Them: "I don't think that's relevant"

The Sbisa hit was also totally clean because Sbisa was trying to skate the puck from his own end over center. Any Dman knows that you're going to have to take a hit to make a play in that situation. Sbisa even braced for contact

Awesome.

Just noticed it, but was Fearland a typo or an actual nickname? I haven't seen it, but it sounds so appropriate.
