After losing Games 1 & 2, I had to wash the bad luck out of my jersey. Goes in the laundry on Monday, wear it on Tuesday and we win that night. Not washing it again until we lose.

Evertything else has been random once we get to the Dome.
For away games when we watch 1/2 the family in Living room 1/2 the family in the den. We all sit in our particular spots wearing our own superstitious Flames gear

Keep the same jersey after a win, go on to the next one after a loss. Good thing is I have many of them. Same with whatever T-shirt Im wearing underneath.

Also not watching it in the same place if we lose. If we win, we go back.

I also text friends the exact same text before the game if it worked the game before.

I know its all crazy but I dont dare upset The Hockey Gods.

When we went down 2-0 to the Ducks I shaved my playoff mustache (first ever haha) in honor of Bollig's shaved beard from round one. I laughed out loud when he scored the first goal of game three and was instantly happy with my decision upon the finish of the game

After the game 3 win the head bonk has moved to 5-0.

I thought it was ribs, but it turns out it is Keg sauce. It works best when it's with ribs, but it also works on burgers as well. I had ribs at the Keg on Mainland in Vancouver before game 1 and the Flames won. I made ribs at home for game 5 of that series and used Tony Roma's sauce. The canucks won. I had burgers with Keg sauce before game 6 and the Flames won. I had ribs at home made with Keg sauce before game 3 against Anaheim and they won. I have reservations at the Keg on 4th Ave SW tomorrow night in Calgary before I head to the Dome. Everyone at the table has been instructed to order ribs.

Also the jerseys I have worn for wins in round one have lost in round two. The Backlund jersey that I wore for the loss in game 2 in Vancouver was worn for the Anaheim win. All winning jerseys from round one have been shelved until round 3.
