Maybe I'm late to the party but I thought we could still get home ice advantage? Wouldn't we want to dress as many vets as possible.

I for one believe Home ice is pretty much irrelevant right now over having nicked up players rested and healthy-ish to start the playoffs.

Gravy season with gravy playoffs. Last game of the year doesn't mean much and the Flames will have to get some help with a Vancouver loss and they're probably craving home ice far more and will ice a better roster in their game.

Recalling players means the ones already in the pressbox will be put into action.

He is a healthy scratch, so he would have to play before a call-up was made. Same with any other healthy scratch.

It pisses me off that the league still allows players to take liberties. Oh that's fine you can slash a bunch if you'd like, it's a big game and you're losing I'll just change the rules temporarily. Bull#### that costs the entire league man hours lost and hurts the entertainment value.

Hudler was physically assaulted but that's cool, they're the cup champs, slashes aren't penalties.
