For my contribution, Best in Show is the funniest movie of all time, and I don't see that ever changing. It's really good, and then Fred Willard steps in and the movie becomes legendary.
Harry Shearer says the only advice Christopher Guest ever gave him on one of his movies was about how to act in a scene with Fred Willard. He said "Don't bother". Willard always owns the scene.

Idris Elba has replaced Will Smith as the coolest black guy in Hollywood.

I don't really see how many of these opinions are "unpopular"... not many people like Johnny Depp these days, which is also why I won't say something negative about Tim Burton.

Let's see here...

The two most consistent actors in Hollywood are Tom Cruise and Denzel Washington. They haven't been in an unwatchable movie in decades.

Russell Crowe and Mel Gibson are two of the more intriguing actors in Hollywood.

Sylvester Stallone hasn't added anything positive to a movie since 1977; I also really don't like him. Schwarzenegger has been in many terrible movies as well, but at least he's likable.

David Fincher's best movie is Zodiac, which was also the best movie of the 2000's.

Kevin Smith has never made a good movie.

Dawn of the Dead (remake) is better that Romero's version.

The Saw movies were a fun ride, until the last one which tarnished the series.

No Country For Old Men is severely over-rated. I appreciate many of the technical aspects of the movie (ie. cinematography. even if it wasn't Deakins best work that year). That said, the story is boring, the characters are underdeveloped, uninteresting, and are extremely hard to relate to. This movie never becomes anything bigger than Tommy Lee Jones' opening monolog, but then again maybe that's the point.

Aliens was one of the worst 'sequels' ever, in that Cameron made a movie that was an entirely different genre than the first Alien movie. (As a movie, it's not awful, but still not great. As a sequel, it is awful.)

I used to think James Bond was terrible as well. I don't anymore. Some of the older films are just stunning. I still think Pierce Brosnan was terrible as Bond.

Man With the Golden Gun is by far my favourite Bond movie. I was quoting it before Steve Coogan.
