What do you expect from a team with the moral character of a sponge.
That team is full of quitters, its a rotten core that needs to be doused with gas and lit on fire.
Yes we can blame the management and the coaching but at the heart of the problem is the lack of heart of the players.

How any Greaser fans can look any other fanbase in the eye with out ultimate shame is beyond my comprehension. Seriously when your STAR players are quoted as saying "You can't come back from a 3-0 deficit" and We will lose on purpose to hurt another team, it's time to hang your hat on another hook.

I don't know what Eberle said, but Pouliot's answer to that question was basically "it doesn't really matter to us, we've just got to try to win every game". I don't know how you can take issue with that answer or try to cast it as them wanting to lose? That's ridiculous.
