Dallas was playing for their season.
We were without Byron, Giordano, and Jooris.

Two PGT's...FTW!!!

Empty net or not...nice to see Backs score. Hopefully this is a start of a scoring streak for him. Would be the ideal time too.

And my forever fav...

Thread closed. But I think if Dallas figures it out as a team they will be very good next year. A lot of speed and snipers on that team.

Other than that. Good job boys!!!!

Well Flames, I hope you're happy. My sphincter is now so tight I won't be able to poop right for a week.

Don't care how they did it, fact is, they did it. Kudos to Hiller for fighting through an anxious start and settling in for a good game.

Monahan didn't seem to miss any shifts in the 3rd, huge relief!

7:07 in the 1st,
6:27 in the 2nd,
6:46 in the 3rd.

That was too much. Dallas threw everything they had at us in the 3rd, but the Flames did a great job getting in the lanes and clogging everything up. Especially in that final minute. Finally some breathing room in the standings! It's gonna be nerve wracking watching the OOT for the next two days. Flames clearly need the rest though. Man, they looked tired in the 3rd.

I would have no issues with him starting agains the Blues.
As a guy who has been harping on the Flames being tired the last couple of weeks, you gotta realize this was 3rd in 4 nights. It was only natural for the guys to be tired. Dallas still had an inkling of hope left for playoffs and pushed hard and played desperate.
