I only discovered A&W breakfast in the past year or so and I've been wondering ever since why I didn't discover way before.

Yes, it's definitely the best version of fast food breakfast.
One problem. Their coffee is s***. McDonald's has great coffee.

Burger King breakfasts are also underappreciated as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah their coffee is pure swill. Old people seem to sure like it though.

The egg also changed, they use the same ones as on McMuffins now. None of those folded ones that used to go on bagels and McGriddles.

No love around here for Tim Horton's breakfasts? The Farmer's Biscuit breakfast (with an ice cap) has been my go to every weekend for the past year.

Powdered eggs while the other guys are using fresh eggs. That right there is enough to sway me. Plus all of their meats and stuff sit in heated bins and isn't really freshly cooked.

Mickie D's also puts all of it's meat and eggs into heating bins too. I assume so does A&W. Mickie D's uses real eggs for the McMuffins, but liquid eggs for everything else. Is there actually such a thing as powder eggs? I remember the onions for most burgers were dehydrated onions, never saw powdered eggs though.

Yes, but it's like McDonalds puts things into bins where they sit for up to 20 minutes, whereas Tims seems to cook theirs days before, refrigerates them, and then heats them up in a microwave after.

Their breakfasts are atrocious. Still baffled that they can stay in business with the extremely low quality of their food. Everything I've ever had there tastes like it was at least a day old. One small step above buying food at a gas station and reheating it in a microwave.
A&W gives a real breakfast, with bacon and eggs. McDonalds McMuffins are just good. Both have better coffee than Tim's.

I have a Tim's giftcard from xmas that I haven't used yet. Even paid for McDonalds breakfast is better than free Tims.
I'll end up using it to buy coffee for the office.

got spoiled having an Olli Fresco's in our lobby, I'd watch the guy cook a fresh egg and toast the bagel right in front of you. The rest all taste like trash now.

Tim Horton's biscuits taste like sawdust. Their croissant is oily and always comes squished and soggy. Their hash browns are dry and taste like cardboard. The only remotely decent thing on their breakfast menu is the B.E.L.T. bagel because it actually has real bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato and you can choose any bagel from their rack to change it up (Jalepeno Asiago!).
A&W Breakfast is good but getting more and more expensive. Only worth it when there are coupons. A&W is rolling out all day breakfast too for their Egger sandwiches but I really only like their full platter breakfasts.
I haven't had an Olli's breakfast for 3 years, maybe I should try that again.
