Why is it that St. Louis only brings their A game against the Flames? They suck against every other playoff bubble team. Cant wait to see them choke again in the playoffs

Blues are pretenders. If you look at their schedule they struggle against top teams. They are great at beating up on bad teams and small teams like the Flames but against good teams they aren't up to the task. They are a bad match for the Flames but I would expect a good match for the Canucks, Wild, Hawks, Kings, Jets as I could see another quick first round exit. I imagine Hitch will get shown the door as there is just something missing with them. They could use an elite goaltender but given all their talent that's a lame excuse as the Flames have done fine without elite goaltending.

Olli Jokinen looks awful. Run-down and just generally tired looking.
8 points in 58 games this season. Traded twice this year.
Don't usually speculate, but maybe some off-ice issues?

So the Blues next opponent. The team they'll take their frustrations out on? The Flames
