4-3 Flames. Wideman pots 2, Raymond with one and Johnny with an empty netter.

It might get ugly at some point tonight, but the belief is possibly running at an all-time high among the players right now, so I have faith they'll find a way to squeeze points out this.

Good thing that eastern trip exceeded expectations for points, but the fact that everyone in the Western playoff race keeps winning means,,,,this is the most important game of the year. so far. Hope they play like it.

Note to VCR, SJ, LA, Minn. do like Winnipeg and lose some games sometimes, you damn dummies.

Michael or Mikael?

It would be great to see Ferland score a goal. I only ask because of how good Backlund has been lately. I can't wait to see him in the playoffs.

One of them will lose tomorrow.

Really? Doesn't feel that way to me at all. After this one they have a long stretch of games predominantly against teams outside the playoffs. A loss tonight really doesn't seem that catastrophic. A win on the other hand would really set them up nicely! Either way it seems like nowhere near the most important game so far.

I don't think a win really sets them up at all. It keeps pace.

A loss means there is a very real chance we're tied with LA again tomorrow.

I think after all is said and done, the Jets are going to crater and we'll be laughing all the way to a wild card spot, regardless of whether we're in div top 3 or not

Then the Ducks score after Johhny's goal?

I'm just saying it's a slippery slope and pretty much all the teams we are fighting with keep winning, so it's important. Maybe not the most importatn, but it's important.

One of the Kings and/or Sharks won't make it.

If one of them surpasses us in the division (Kings more likely than Sharks) we're still going to get Jets Wild Card spot.

Just IMO obvs

They don't care. To them as long as we win 10 we're pretty much guaranteed a spot.

You know all of the other teams are pretty much guaranteeing we tank out of the playoffs too right?

We're by far the most likely candidates.

I'd be very surprised if Wideman hit the net twice in the same game.
