I knew Backlund was still on the bench, so when I saw Schlemko I was incredibly angry for 3 seconds while he carried the puck down the ice.
My anger then turned to immediate jubilation. What kind of move was that? How did Bob know? Is this real life?

Not a word of a lie -- when Lucic was stopped I thought "the next guy should try the Forsberg deke".
I did not think the next shooter would actually do it, and I certainly did not think it would be Schlemko. Yeaaaaaaaaaah baby!
P.S. I haven't seen an epic shootout winner from a defenceman like that since Marek Malik did the between the legs on Ollie Kolzig some 10 years ago.

He's faced a lot of rubber the past few games and after a long shootout with a game tomorrow night it's hard to say where Hartley will go. He's on a roll but I don't know if you want to overplay him and maybe Hiller comes up with a good game knowing he really needs to be good if he wants to play again.
