I watched a couple recent Bruins games and they just seem completely discombobulated. Since they have a fairly safe grip on their playoff spot (they keep opening the door for the Panthers but the Panthers close it) they seem to lack motivation.

I'll say big win tonight, 4-2 Flames with Empty netter. Bruins score first, Flames score the next 3 and after Bruins get one back we get an empty netter.

Yeah I dont get alot of the cheer for the team in your city issue.

When I was a kid, I was a Maple Leafs fan cause my dad was a Habs fan and I didn't get along with him and my uncle was a huge Maple Leafs fan and he took me to the Flames/Maple Leafs games when he was in town. I started liking the Flames more as junior high went on mostly cause I was a big Iginla fan and I would go to a lot of games, then of course '04 really solidified my Flames fandom.

I was a MAriners fan as a kid cause Ken Griffey Jr/Edgar Martinez were my favourite players and their AAA team was in Calgary, and my dad would take me to see Alex Rodriguez play the year he played here. Eventually I switched to the Jays cause I could watch them on TV and Delgado/Green were two of my favourite players in the early 2000's

I'm a Seahawks fan because they were the team I played in the Madden video games since like 2000.

Also that comment about "you don't live in the city so you are a bandwagoner" is complete BS.
Spent 20 years in Calgary and even though I will never end up living there again, I am ANYTHING but a bandwagon fan.
