I'm starting to really hate the Jets. A lot. An awful lot. Like with the fire a a few hundred suns. Not the thousands suns of the Canucks, but it's getting warmer

Mackinnon has the lone goal, 1-0 Avalanche after one period.

Agreed. Lets focus our common bad karma on LA and Minnesota. I want Calgary in too

Calgary continues to get zero help from the OOT results. With the way Minnesota, LA, and Dallas are playing if the Flames don't get a win tonight and allow the Canucks to get some separation I doubt they can hold the final wildcard spot

I think what we are seeing is the teams that are in the race with the Flames have been taking care of business against eastern conference teams while the Flames have almost as bad a record against the East as the Oilers. Would be a real shame to miss the playoffs because they went .400 against the Eastern Conference.

#### the Western Conference sometimes. In the East everyone is pretty much locked in barring a major losing skid. Again Calgary had more wins in the last 10 games among any team in the Pacific and out of the playoffs going into tonight, except for Minnesota, and they slide from 2nd in the Pacific to desperately clutching the last wild card spot.
#### you extra point, #### you Minnesota, #### you Obama

Avs are up 2-0, that would be big. They're too far back and a loss is a nice little FU to Dallas.

Tanguay scores, 2-0 Colorado.
The Predators and Devils are tied 1-1 in the third period.

The Stars are currently losing and at the very least, the Jets two points tonight was in the shootout.
