Chu and Farell both act imature.
Same goes for Nenchi and his infant like tirades.

The thing you are reminded about from mini-scandals like this is how disfunctional this group is.
Nenshi and Farrell take most of the blame this round for making intentionally widely distributed statements that they aren't willing to substantiate but at the same time which they are intending to create intrigue and questions.
Farrell talking about a "wild party" which really was one staff member's inability to control her own intake, seven years ago, and then also turning the issue into one of gender, demonstrates why she has been the most loved and hated councillor, at the same time. In some ways I like her $hit disturbing nature, but I'm so tired of her antics, I wish she would retire.
Now to Nenshi. Most are bashing Chu here, and he may deserve it, but Nenshi is getting too much of a free ride. It is fundamentally wrong as a Mayor to say that you have reports of councillors becoming "blotto" (which I'm sure is not the words he heard) while at the same time knowing you won't be allowed or required to back it up. Its like he's trying to take the back room issues and say what some of the issues are, without everything being laid on the table. He's clearly calling someone to the floor, and inviting the city population to think it could be their own councillor. It fosters the very disfunction he's been a part of all along. It was immature at best. His calling Chu out saying "we're not in junior high" was every bit as awful as what Chu himself said. Someone with his smarts knows very well how he could have put it, Nenshi made it as personal as what he was complaining about. But this is classic Nenshi, mind you.
Nenshi has all the tools to be a statesman, but all too often acts like he's in a playground.

I'm referring to a poll from a Calgary magazine... she won both one year... can't remember which magazine.

She and her constituents are pretty much in lock step, so I can understand that. Our son goes to school in the community, and my interactions with the other families seem to suggest that, for the most part, she speaks for her community which cares a lot about arts and culture. Which I respect. I wish Chu would represent, or at the very least query his constituents to gauge what they want before he speaks for us.

I think Druh is an awesome Councillor. Loves her city and wants to beautify it and make it better.
This often means spending money, which so many people in Calgary are so lividly and oddly against.

I've noticed this too. Not sure why the guy likes to take juvenile jabs when it's totally unnecessary to do so. It just makes him look childish. His lackey running his twitter doesn't help either with his stupid tweets. Gotta admit, the shine's wearing off for me on Nenshi. I'm not sure I'd vote for him again.

Yeah the whole group is kind of embarrassing and Nenshi's twitter tirades are getting old.

Druh loves Druh. She loves areas of the city she has vested interest and does in fact spend money there to make it better and increase the values of her properties. She's been the driving force behind a lot of stupid things like the Bow River Flow, 16th Ave over budget disaster, wasteful spending like decorating Memorial drive, over budget peace bridge. I can understand why Ward 7 keeps voting her in as she's funnelled a lot of money into it but to the rest of the city she's a nuisance.

Sounds like she's great at her job
Who is she a nuisance to? I dont live in her riding and don't find her a nuisance. If you live In Legacy or Seton then maybe she's a nuisance because the peace bridge money could have been used for some more roads.
