Favourite = Hudler. I went back and forth with a few players, Gio, Brodie, Gaudreau, Bouma, but Hudler for me stands out. Great skill, helps out the young guys, a bit media shy, but provides a lot of funny moments.
Least Favourite = Bollig. I just don't see him bring much. Maybe I am used to the big guy on the 4th line throwing down or sticking up for teammates, Bollig just seems kinda "meh" to me.

Glencross should win both

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Why Smid? The guy has so much heart, I find him quite easy to cheer for. He'll block a Weber slapshot with his face if it'll help the team win.

I cheer for the jersey. I like them all up to the day they no longer wear the Flaming C.

Because he's slow and can't move the puck. The guy is all heart, but the worst defenseman we have. He's worse than Diaz. Every player in the team is worse when Smid is on the ice.

This reminds me of the Jerry Seinfeld standup routine about how we are cheering for clothes lol.
"You are standing and cheering and yelling for your clothes to beat the clothes from another city."

You're telling me you don't pick favourites, at all? Would you cheer for Matt Cooke if he became a member of the Flames?

My teenager sometimes says (just to get my goat) that he refuses to cheer for a team because they are from the city. Which makes me mad because we are in Calgary but, if we lived in Edmonton, would make me say "yeah, that makes sense".

Favourite: Gio easily, guy lives and breathes by the Flaming C, always been a big fan, glad to see him take a huge step as a player
Least: Hmmm probably Glencross or Bollig. I respect what Glencross brings to the team and he is a hell of a player but some of things he does annoys the ^#@# out of me and I know he can be better than some of the dumb mistakes he makes.

Fave: Gio, Money and Bennett.
Bleh: Eggs, Bollig, Diaz and perhaps Raymond.
Players that are up there but can't knock out my current faves: Gaudreau, Brodie and Backlund. Still like these 3 a lot, but def not faves.

I believe in the Pony Power
|
Favorites:
Backlund - not only is he a good player, I think he also a genuine good guy. Easy to root for
Johnny Hockey - the most entertaining player we've had on the Flames since Sergei Makarov. He is reason to tune in.
Least Favorite:
Bollig.
