Honka gives Sweden a 1:49 5 on 3 to start the 3rd period because he failed to leave the ice after his helmet got knocked off

Whoops, posted that too soon. Swedes PP is Death on ice. Should be a two goal lead by the end of the 5 on 3.

But the Fins escape the two penalties with only one goal. Thats a positive.

Rantanen making things happen again with a great drive early and then draws another PP

rather see the Swedes get knocked out.

then won't have to deal with the Toronto centric gushing on Nylander

I must say, I was not expecting this to be a high scoring affair.

4 minute PP for the Fins. Really need to reel a couple goals in on it.

Agreed. If Canada plays the Swedes in the final TSN is going to be in full slurp mode for Nylander. It's going to be tough to listen to.

On the other hand a Canada-Sweden final would be epic here. We might see another Sune76 full-on meltdown.

What a bad bad bad PP for the Fins. Primary focus on point shots and wouldn't even try in close shots. It's like a football team only running passing plays, the opposing defense doesn't need to try to stop the run because they know it ain't coming.

That has to be the nail in the coffin for the fins. Lindblom has been stellar this tournament.
