Looking to next season, I expect THREE slots open for the group you mention...TVR sees a lock to retain the slot he was in, Oduya and Rozival will both need to be replaced, as UFAs I don't expect to return...(and don't forget Johns, also in the mix!)

I wouldn't expect the Hawks to run with youngsters as their 4-7 defenders though. Tim is in a pickle, as he should be, forever and ever.

They've done it before with Keith/Seabrook/Wisnewski as rookie D-men 4,5,and 6! There is some confidence in the whole system and the three current goaltenders, along with excellent forward backchecking that helps the current D too. Anyway, the cap may force this hand.
