I know it was his first game back, but Colborne was hot garbage tonight. Hopefully he can piece it together quick. Even though Ferlands stint was short his presence was felt in his tryout and I feel like we could've used him out there tonight with Buffalo's bigger defenseman

Flames D zone coverage cost them again. 3rd and 4th line did not help out down low at all. Ramo was way to scrambled tonight. Over committed himself early on 2 or 3 of those goals.

The Flames dominated the play and deserved to win.

Unfortunately, our defense and goaltending was very sloppy tonight when we needed it, which wasn't often, but it was enough to cost us. Also I don't care what anyone says, I'd take Smid over Engelland or Diaz any day.

Frustrating for sure, but let's not panic. Every team goes through slumps. It's only 3 losses. I have faith they'll win tomorrow.

Disagree. Lapses (while bad) were very few and far between. If they play like that every night they win far more often than they lose

No one's interested in getting caught up in semantics with someone's who only agenda tonight was to whine and bring attention to themselves.

Enroth might not have stole the game but he played very well. Anytime a goalie makes 40+ saves it's noteworthy.

We played poorly defensively, but to suggest their goaltending wasn't noteworthy is ridiculous. But then again so is whining through the entire game thread and calling Byron and Bouma pugs who need replacing.

Okay... Colborne sets up the go ahead goal on a really good driving play but it's his fault. Played a really solid game over all and still gets the blame for the loss.

At least we negatively affected Buffalo's chances for him. After Edmonton, they're the team I least want to get McDavid or Eichel.

I'm getting worried that our top 4 has been going so hard they're running on fumes at 30 games. If playoffs are going to be seriously entertained, they need to make a deal for another defender.

Malkin is still there and he's in beast mode right now. Fleury is also en fuego right now and leads the league in SO's. Crosby or not, those guys are scary.

clearly a lot of folks have forgotten the expectations (or lack thereof) of this flames team coming into the year. It's been an UNREAL start, but let's not kid ourselves, they aren't going to be able to continue at that clip for the entire season. The only question now is, how much do they really level off?

Shot% is coming down, save% is coming down, as i think all of could agree was somewhat expected.

Today was a very very winnable game. In the end, the defensive lapses were just too many and too horrendous. If your scoring 3 goals on the sabres team that is 30th in the league in goals, that's a game you should win.

I didn't think Ramo had much chance on any of the goals and was ok but the defence hung him out to dry. It looks to me that Brodie and Gio have been playing hard but tired and when you are tired your game breaks down. And Glencross looks fine except he throws away the puck with bad passes repeatedly!!!

Something I noticed, and I'm not sure if it's been brought up but Gaudreau sometimes seems to stay out longer than he maybe should. I don't think its cost him yet, but I wonder if it's something the coaches have talked him him about because taking that extra 30 seconds when your line mates have changed can end badly if you get caught.
